Ankit Chandrasekharan

I’m an Architect turned UX/UI Designer, focusing on turning complex ideas into simple, meaningful digital experiences. My path towards UX wasn’t a straight line. I started out studying architecture, which taught me how to think logically, design with intent, and always keep the end-user in mind. Over time, I realized my real passion lay in creating experiences that live in the digital world, where design meets people’s everyday lives.

Along the way, I pursued a Master’s in Graphic Design and earned my Google UX Design certification, giving me the tools to balance creativity with strategy. Since then, I’ve built a versatile skill set that spans user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing, along with a deep understanding of branding and visual design. The projects have taught me the importance of blending user needs with business goals, while keeping accessibility and usability at the forefront.

What drives me most is empathy—understanding people’s needs, behaviors, and challenges, and translating those insights into designs that make a difference. I enjoy tackling projects that serve diverse audiences and finding smart, functional solutions that go beyond just looking good.

Outside of work, I draw inspiration from my everyday surroundings. I love watching movies, irrespective of the genre and language. It really strikes me when the movie has its own visual quality, from the fonts, the graded colours to the way it presents each frames. Besides that, I do enjoy micro-learning, especially on the latest AI advancements and workflows. Exploring different perspectives keeps me curious and fuels the creativity I bring into my design process.
